Stevie WonderStevland Haraway Morris (ne Judkins) was born on May 13, 1950. He is best known as Stevie Wonder and is considered to be a pioneering musician as well as an influencer on musicians from diverse genres, from rhythm and blues, jazz, soul, gospel to jazz. The synthesizers used by Wonder in the 1970s as well as other electronic musical instruments led to the creation of R&B an all-female show. Wonder also helped in the development of genres such as R&B in the era of albums. His LPs were consistent and cohesive and also socially conscious statements with complex compositions. Blind since the day of the birth of his son, Wonder was a child prodigy who signed with Motown's Tamla label at 11 years old, and was given the name of a professional Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's critical success reached its peak during the 1970s. The band's "classic period" started in 1972 and was the time of release of Music of My Mind. Talking Book featured "Superstition" which is one of the most well-known and distinctive sounds produced by the Hohner Clavinet keyboard. He won the Grammy Award as Album of the year for Innervisions (1973), FulfillingnessThe First Finale (1974), and Songs in the Key of Life ( 1976). This makes him the tie-record holder of the most Album of the year wins with three. Wonder is the only artist to have won the award three times in succession with consecutive album releases. Wonder started his "commercial period" in the 1980s. He had the biggest hits and highest level of fame.
