Aura Garrido is an Spanish film and television actress. She has appeared on television and in movies like Stockholm. Garrido came into the world in Madrid in the year 1989. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and conductor of orchestras, while the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez, is an artist. After taking her first piano lessons at age four when she was four, she began learning ballet. One of her best friends was an English native, so she learned to speak English by her. She was enrolled at Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico when she completed her studies at high school. In her 3rd year, she studied interpretive and textual aspects of the program. In 2010, however she quit the program since she was cast for the role of Planes para manana. The role won an award of the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress, as well as an Goya Awards nomination in the most outstanding breakthrough actress category in addition to other nominations.
