Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was just 14 years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her amateur debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd followed up to win three bouts within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat were defeated within the first second. Then, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had previously defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen who beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as an amateur were destroyed. Ladd bounced back from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to make her record 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won her fight in the opening round, via a TKO. Her next bout was a win at the hands of Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen later faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy using her catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd had not made an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to the point that she defeated her via a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final match for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks in a unanimous decision. Her UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She beat Lina via a fight that was a foot and pound win in 2nd round. In her subsequent fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd won over Evinger in the first round and was awarded the night's prize. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in an UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Avs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters earned the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough and ended her win streak. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
